I have just had a very nice reply from David at rePotme.com in response to my inquiry about clear plastic Paph pots.
He said that he will investigate to see if anything is available, and he also mentioned that he is meeting with his pot manufacturer this week, and will explore the idea with them.
I'll let you know if anything comes of it!
PS. They have some nice tall ceramic pots - probably for cymbidiums - but with the holes in the side to allow air in, they look like they would work for anything that has a deeper root system.

Thanks Shannon. The whole point here, is that many (or at least a few ) of us want to be able to monitor the state (the moisture level) of the potting medium in deeper pots like Paphs and Phrags like/need.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

It also really helps to tell when you need to repot, as you can see how broken down the potting medium is down inside the pot. Nearly all of the plants I have growing in a bark mix are in clear pots - and I'd love to be able to have all of them in clear pots.
