I did notice they are slightly fussy about water quality. However, I love those flowers!

Hi, will someone kindly enough to tell me about the cultivation of Dendrbium Wonder Nishi?
What medium, lighting & watering conditions will be best of this orchid?
I purchased a young plant (NBS) in the summer of 2002, and couldn't get it into blooming. I live in Toronto, Canada.

Hi ,
It likes more water then a hybrid Dendrobium , not wringing wet more like moist . No hard dry out . Mine is in bark fine grade mixed with course , it gets bright light but less then the Hybrid types no hot direct . Let it get pot bound , don't re pot any more then you have to , one thing, how much light is it getting now ?Mine is Fert. with MSU. for rain water once a week . Gin

Thks, Gin.
Mine almost died last summer until I mounted it on tree bark. I now grow it under artificial light and spray twice a day whenever possible. Day temp. is about 70F and night drops to about 60F. Mine is also fertilized once per week with MSU and tap water. Hopefully one day Iwill be rewarded with beautiful flowers.
