Question about bare stems

Hello everyone,

Please help me out here as I am not sure if the bare stems are still alive and have the potential to grow and bloom or they are dead as I’m now struggling if I should I leave the bare stems untouched or cut them off. Please advise.

That looks like a Dendrobium, and it looks like a Dendrobium kingianum or a hybrid involving this species. They normally keep leaves for several years, then drop them. The pseudobulbs can last for several more years.

Everything I see is alive on your plant. Now that it is warm, and the plant is growing, give it plenty of light, water and fertilizer.

Leave those pseudobulbs on. They won't regrow leaves, but do serve as water/nutrient storage for the plant, and do have the ability to bloom. They'll turn brown/black and shrivel up when they're dead
