Searching for Dendrobium Moliniforme "Kibana Sekokku"
Default Searching for Dendrobium Moliniforme "Kibana Sekokku"

A while back I found D. moliniforme, it's small size, many cultivars and many flower colors and shapes. I was really happy with the fact that I get these to flower pretty consistently. One cultivar, "Kibana Sekokku" was extremely freely flowering for me and very pretty with it's creamy yellow flowers . However, I lost track of it in my voluminous window culture and I lost this plant. I can't seem to find this cultivar anywhere currently. I have checked and emailed all the usual suspects, yet no luck. Any Ideas?

Does NWO still make their yearly shopping trip to Japan? I had ordered a few plants from them 6-7 years ago when they where still coming to Europe for a show, and I think I remember a friend getting some specific plants from the Japan trip by special request.

I first spoke with her and I got the impression, one plant wasn't worth ordering...that was a couple years ago. Maybe I can try again.

Have you tried Andy's Orchids on a Stick? I know he carries a variety of different named moniliform plants.
