I've had this dude for a few years, its always a reliable bloomer for me. This year, winter has been so warm that it bloomed quite early. I usually see blooms start in March, but this time, they started late December. I also got 4 spikes this time, a welcome addition. Does not need a big winter rest, smells wonderful.

This is really an amazing complex hybrid from australian den breeding... got one myself just last year and it's beginning to spike, very exciting...

Some seem to bloom 2 to 3 times a year in my neck of the woods, yours blooms 1/year?

I've read they can bloom 2-3 times a year, but mine doesn't. I don't know if that is because it is still a younger plant or because I grow indoors, in windowsills. It was pretty small when I got it. Any time it wants to start blooming more than once a year is TOTALLY ok with me

I'm not sure how tall its supposed to get, but I suspect that it won't get too much taller than it is. It is about 7.5" from top of bark mix to tallest leaf, that doesn't include the pot or the flower spikes. I think it will stay around that height but keep clumping in the pot.
