Cool My first Den.

I was thinking I need a Dendrobium for my collection but I don't have much room. So I saw this cute little Mini looks to be a Dendrobium Compactum White. It is so cute. looks to be 2 seedlings in one pot. when I repotted they were not contacted at all.

The roots were in good shape. But the leaves are sad looking. I repotted it in a fine bark mix. It was Smashed really deep in the pot with moss all around it. The Moss being to tightly packed helped keep the plant up right.

What kind of light should I give it. Right now it is in a east window that gets good light from 9:30 - 11:30. Should it get more? I have a south facing window that gets some direct sun and some filtered sun depending on the time.

This is my first Den of any kind and this one kind of reminds me of a Catt. Any tips would be nice thanks.

It has been awhile since I took any photos. So here are some of the new plant.

This is what they call Phalaenopsis type Dendrobium originally from tropical northern Australia. Warm indoor temperature min 60s/18c. Bright light. From what you have said, seems like you got a perfect location for it.

Nice one Take care with watering: water the roots this allows for a mini humid environment which these plants I have found tend to like.
