Lovely thread. VERY kinformative, thankyou. I have several dens. I don't know what type. I know that some are deciduous (sp?). I printed off the initial post & am taking it to an orchid show to get pics of what type of dens these are so that I'll know what i have.

Thanks~~

Wink Some care sheers and info...

Here's some care sheets that I thought would be useful. I got the information from somewhere (now I can't find where). I changed temperatures from celcius to fahrenheit and added pictures with captions. I didn't do the writing, someone else did.

Anyone know or have a list of every dendrobium sugenus?

Fairly bright light. Same as or brighter than cattleya light. And I've found that it LOVES to be mounted, at least in my conditions.

OK, mine got too much sun and the leaves burned up, this Spring new pseudo bulbs have appeared and new leaves. The roots seem very dry all the time and no supple. I may try mounting it, but for right now its in a very small clay pot with just bark and charcoal. If I didn't burn the plant up it would have bloomed by now.
