Default Dendrobium hancockii

Got this at a local county plant fair this past weekend. I was going only to pick up some supplies that I needed to complete my spring re-potting. Needless to say I did not make it out of there before also buying 3 orchids, this is one of them, the bamboo shape of this orchid is what sold me on the purchase, enjoy!

I repotted this one a few weeks ago and placed it in an area that I thought it would do well in, I ended up moving it a few days after and now every green leaf on this has fallen off. I am trying to figure out if putting it into the area I did or when I was trying to get all the old, and I mean old, media off that I might have been the cause of the damage. It still looks alive so I am hoping it will recover.

The roots of this orchid plant is fine and sensitive. It is sulking on you. It is best not to water it for a week when you repot so the roots get accustomed to the new media. This likes bright sun and warmth.....good air around it and lots of humidity.

Being in south Florida it gets plenty of light, humidity and air movement.

Thanks RosieC! Unfortunately I ended up killing this one not sure what I did wrong, have since gotten another smaller one but hope I run into the nursery at the upcoming orchid show season where I got this one as it was such a healthy large plant and would not mind getting another one, I have seen pictures of fully mature ones and that is what I want to do.
