Default Dendrobium Aussie's Chip in bloom

Latouria section

... or is it Micro Chip ? I got this prior to what was then classified as atroviolaceum v. pygmy being reclassified as distinct species normanbyense. (Aussie's Chip is aberrans x atroviolaceum; Micro Chip is aberrans x normanbyense)
... anyways - it's a fairly compact Den; grows like a weed! (it's become much too bushy for my narrow windowsills, and will hopefully get divided after blooming).

Because of the bushiness of the plant, and flowers on all sides of, and center of, plant, photos just can't convey how wonderful it looks - so many (1.5") flowers all over!

Blooms are very long lasting (3 -4 months), and canes can bloom more than once. A reliable bloomer, and a very rewarding plant!

Thanks for looking

great looking plant! I have a Micro Chip that is forming buds now. I can't wait. It will be my first rebloom for that plant.

Wow, what a lush and healthy plant. And so many flowers just jammed in there! I have a Micro Chip and they do grow like weeds. Latouria Dendrobiums are my favorite orchids, I have 2 species and 3 hybrids and am still itching to buy more. How can you go wrong with such easy growing orchids that rebloom from old canes and flower several times in a year?

Thanks, everyone

Lynn - I hope you will post pix of yours when it blooms!

Joseia - I love the latourias, too I only have this, a big hybrid blooming now Dendrobium Royal Wings in bloom
and a spectabile that isn't bloom size. I'm with you on their attributes! Before I got mine, I was worried that they would be hard to grow (why I thought that, I don't know) - but despite the fact that I was still struggling to get my orchids to bloom at the time, the latouria Dens I got (the bloom sized ones), all bloomed the following year!

If this is micro chip it has one of my favorite scents of an orchid. It smells like lavender camomile mixed with earl grey to me
