What a beautiful display--both the dendrobium and the mount. Very cool idea.

I wasn't referring to your plant, which is beautiful! It was a Monty Python reference on the theme of indulging gluttony - in this case, encouraging No-Pro-mwa to get more orchids.

You have a beautifully colored D. pendulum.
I am envious.

I used to have one in my collection back in Alaska.
I was disappointed in its coloring, no purple tips on the lip, petals or sepals. But, I loved the "knuckle bones" look of the PBs.

I have acquired some young ones recently.

I bought 3 of them and have mounted them on one of our driveway palms.
4 new growths have begun on them.
Plus, 2 separate canes have nodes that appear to be beginning to form buds.
I'm hoping that I'll soon get a look at what the flowers will look like.
I hope they will look as nice as yours do.
Until I see what I'm getting, I'll stay green with envy.

Hi Voyager, your younglings look good! Very natural against the palm tree... Please post your flowers when they show!

I'm glad you like my flower pattern ... Hopefully yours will be same or better!

I'm envious you live in Hawaii!!
