Den Phals in Bloom

Here are my Den Phals in Bloom. The purple is a Noid that smells like Grapes and I love the scent. The light colored one is Den Salaya Candy with no scent.

Beautiful! I have a Red bull that is supposed to look similar to your purple one. It hasn't bloomed yet but should in the spring. I hope it's fragrant like yours!

I'm almost certain that is Red Bull. It certainly looks like the ones on the internet

Thanks for the comments Den phals do very well for me in lava rock watering once week and their care is very easy I give lots of sun. Vanda lover thanks for trying to I.D my dendrobium! I hope your smells as good it is easy to detect when the sun is shining on it, it may be my best smelling orchid other than Dgrma Winter Wonderland 'White Fairy' which takes the #1 spot.

I also grow mine in lava rock and water once a week. It does make caring for them very easy. It's nice to know about the fragrance. I have had several den phals but never noticed a fragrance. Maybe mine will be the same one as yours. The only thing that I have been able to find out about Red Bull is that it is used for cut flowers a lot.
