They both bloom this time of the year, fall, although I suspect they will bloom more than once per year if grown at subtropical zone, especially the second one.
The one with more biggibum blood tends to respond to shorter day length, hence many of these hybrids bloom in late summer into fall, while ones with more antelope blood tends to bloom year around if proper conditions are met.
The first one is still a young plant, but those three spikes are all from one cane.
The second one had five spikes when I bought it, so apparently I am doing "ok" job with it.
Did you have the same flowers staying in bloom for ten months or did you have a total blooming period of ten months??
The average for these are usually around 2-3 months, and the longest I've ever had was 7 months out of the same flowers. It was not a registered hybrid (I don't think) but given the shape it had a strong influence of the antelope type. The total blooming period I got out of that particular plant was year around. Yes, non stop, because it opened the first flower in the fall (September), as usual, then near the end of it around March, the flowers from the new spike started to open, which last until late summer.
Unfortuantely the plant got too big and I got rid of it.

Bright pink and white contrast is really nice, but it also happens to be a better, clearer picture than the second one, which in person in bright light is quite something.
