Default It hit 0 degrees!

Well... Knew this day would come Yesterday, Hubby and I put up the veg garden, and I hemmed and hawed about the few remaining orchids outside. At 10:00 pm, it was apparent the temps were really dropping, so In came the nobile dens!

They were placed in a south window , where it still stays quite cool. [ a drop at night of temp ]
This morning, I checked them out as usual, and one of the new dens has a couple of nubs [Oriental Smile] , so I'm over the moon!

Here they are in the window

Here is OS , with the nubs [flower or babie ]

Do you grow them outdoors all summer? Man I have some nobile types and dying to get them flowering. They just sort of grow.....not much else!

Already? I think we will be seeing some temperature drops later this week but, thankfully, not that low. I am not at all ready for the ice and snow.
Congratulations on your future blooms!

Did the sudden temp drop initiate the buds?
