Default Dendrobium hemimelanoglossum

Here are a couple of quick shots of Dendrobium hemimelanoglossum blooming. It's been sending out blossoms for about six weeks, but as a few open up, a few more drop off. Plant has had a total of about fifteen flowers. It's growing in a 2" pot with lots of sponge rock and fir bark. Blooms are about half an inch across. Still waiting for a new p-bulb to spring up.

I'm jealous. I got mine to spike but it's now dried up.

Do you detect a fragrance?

I can barely detect a fragrance if I put my nose right up to the bloom. It's very faint. I have kept it close to the humidifier, but the moisture doesn't fall on the plant. I think that has helped keep the spike from drying up.
