Default Dendrobium aggregatum aka lindleyi on a pot

I mounted this aggregatum majus on this highly patinated ceramic pot last fall. I had to rip it from its cork mounting to accomplish this. I thought it would not bloom this Spring in protest to the heavy-handed treatment, but it is doing so anyway.

Wow. Very happy plant. I have 2 and none bloomed despite no watering during winter. They get good amount of sunlight. I just started watering them couple of days ago.May be mine will bloom next year. Do you fertilize them a lot ? What type of fertilizer?

I fertilize with a standard 20-20-20 twice a month. I reduce water and nutrients somewhat during the winter months (here that's Nov Dec Jan), but I do not completely restrict either. I hear a lot of people have difficulty with this one, mine seems happy despite the tuff-love.

I like the mount, too. I also have one of these that I cannot get to bloom. I think mine needs to move to Florida.

That's a very unique looking pot. Where did u purchase it? and did u just mount it bare root? Or with some type of medium??

Well done you have struck the jackpot with this one. Mine flowered for the first time a couple of weeks ago one spike 5 flowers it's only a small plant but appears to be happy. I like the way you have mounted it. Its given me a couple of ideas. (We have to grow these in a heated house down in NZ)
Thanks
