Default Dendrobium Aussie's Chip in bloom

(Latouria section)

... or is it Den Micro Chip?
Aussie's Chip is a primary hybrid of aberrans and atroviolaceum; Micro Chip, a primary hybrid of aberrans and normanbyense.
I got this one before atroviolaceum v pygmy was reclassified as species normanbyense ... so, I don't know if I can be certain as to which it may be... height? Tallest cane is about 4" with nearly 3" leaves. Blooms are 1 1/4" across.

Regardless of the name, it's been an easy grower and happy bloomer for me

Potted in a 4" plastic pot, perlite and pumice mix. I keep the media lightly moist (looks like it was underwatered a bit this winter, due to unusually warm and very dry weather). It grows in a west facing window that gets some direct sun during mid-afternoon hours.

Vigorous grower - it has become very bushy in the few years (about 5) that I have had it. It may be in a 4" pot, but at it's widest point, is about 12" across. I set the plant on an over-turned 12" pot when I was photographing it, so you can see exactly how bushy it is! In the over-head shot, you can't even see the pot it's on!

Thanks for looking

Aw thanks, Bud
It's an easy-going happy plant that can rebloom on older, previously bloomed canes - a good recipe for lots of blooms

Yours looks great, Sonya. Mine is not happy with me. Perhaps it needs more water.
