Den. Nora Tokunaga bloom starts - 13 spikes, 48 buds
My Nora Tokunaga has started to bloom. There are 13 spikes and 48 buds/flowers! It's very happy.
To me the flowers don't present that well as they face downward, and it's not fragrant as far as I can tell. BUT it is a prolific and reliable bloomer this time of year when flowers are most welcome!

Very nice, Carrie! While I was watering my orchids today I noted that one of my dens has some buds starting and I thought "that is kind of early", but I guess not! I hope mine are as healthy as yours. Thanks for sharing!

This is actually last year's blooms. This year was even better. I fertilize with MSU and summer outside. This oen just seems to like me  |
