Den. bigibbum var. compactum is a plant that grows on rocks
and exposed cliff faces at low elevation (around 300 meters)
native to North of Cairns to the Windsor Tableland West of
Daintree in Australia.
The color of the flowers varies from pinkish-mauve to lavender / purple and from my older post pink to almost white, with the base of the labellum being a much darker purple.
I got this mounted and is hanging in the east facing window of my kitchen watered twice a day in the warmer months but in winter I give it rest; every other week without fertilizer from December 15 to February 15….since the new keikis and blooms depends on a proper rest period.
I got this from Andy’s orchids and the tag says it is a Dendrobium bigibbum v. compactum

Vappodes lithocola
