I'm just wondering if this cross would survive Florida? I think we might be too hot. I am no den expert by any means

This sounds like a small Den nobile type hybrid. Den unicum can probably take Florida summer if it's in phal type shade, then cat light in other months.

The Den Princess part may be Princess Asai, which I believe is a nobile type hybrid that is smaller than the standard type. Den Princess Asai x unicum should also grow in Florida, given the above treatment.

These "miniaturized" Den nobile type hybrids only need about a week of 62 F or lower to set buds for blooming.

It gets in the 90s here and mine blooms like crazy. It requires a cool winter rest.

I had ~100 blooms on mine this year.
