rootless D. nobile keikis...any suggestions?

There are two keikis on my D. nobile. They are about 6 to 8 inches long and they don't show any signs of root growth.

Any suggestions on how to get them to grow roots

You could try misting the base of the keikis. It seems to work for me although maybe they were going to grow roots anyways! Using a bit of rooting hormone in the mist water might help too.

I agree with silken, I would apply rooting hormone at the base of the Keiki, even with a q tip. They should absolutely not be removed from the mother plant. However, when the keikis are mature, they will produce roots, how long as it been? How big are they? Maybe a few pictures would help us. Keikis demand patience
