Thanks, Ron. I let you know about my little order soon.

I know there are lots of works involved with this and that is why I don't want to do it at the first place. Thank you for the great opportunity again.

How will this be organized?

Is there a need for an import permit?
Philip and Anisa,

On some of the questions, I'm waiting for an answer. Some I can answer now:

They would be ordered asap and coming in the next few months.

I have all the necessary paperwork already.

I would guess that shipping depends on the size of the order, but I've asked him for an estimate if he's able to give one.

Payment would be needed as soon as he processes the order.

I am organizing it - I've ordered from him before and thus have the necessary permits and paperwork, and would have the order shipped to me through the Seattle Office of the USDA. I've worked with them before and they are very helpful.

I have the import permit along with the necessary stickers, etc.

I've asked about quantities, etc., his on-line list and will probably have an answer from him tomorrow.

To all of you who have enquired, further information:

Shipping by ordinary mail is quite cheap, courier about L80 (well over $100). I had them shipped by ordinary mail last time and they were fine, though they needed to be potted out right away.

The large flasks do not travel well as they get all jumbled up and he does not really care to send them.

He sent a list of everything currently available (much more than Dendrobium species. If you want the list sent me a PM with your email address and I send it as an attachment, but not everything is mature enough.

He can do tubes with material for replating.

I have my own order and one other (yours, Tom), so I you want to be included let me know asap. I'll wait yet if some of you want the list, but would like to get this off reasonably soon.

One more thing - there will be a small additional shipping charge when I break up the package and ship everyone their part of the order - probably around $6.00, the cost of a small Priority Mail box.

To everyone who's inquired about this order, another clarification:

the prices on the list (attachment) are for individual seedlings in tubes - those prices in addition to the prices already quoted for hobby flasks and commercial flasks.

Ron, hobby flask(a few plants in tube?) is the least amount that you have to buy, right? How many seedlings in a hobby flask normally? If only 3-4 seedling in a flask, it will only cost $15-$25 per hobby flask(for most of them).

Tom,
As I now understand it, the hobby flasks are 15-26 pounds (note that this is pounds sterling, not dollars, as are all his prices) and contain five seedlings. The list was a price list for individual plants and is priced accordingly.
