its like volunteering yourself to be eaten by a monster! the close up is quite scary if you don't know its a flower!

If orchids could give nightmares, this one would be the one. That close up shot looks like it has teeth! The blooms are spectacular in a weird twisty way I think this is now high on my list of favorite oddball orchids. Good growing!

Thank you, and yes they do look like they have teeth. The blooms have a soft perfume reminiscent of talcum powder. I was expecting a much stronger fragrance from such wicked looking blooms
