I love this Dendrobium. I got one from Andy's with the rest of the last project plants. Can't wait to see it in bloom. Do you have a full plant picture ???
The canes are skinny and long... very skinny at the base and about 1/4" at the thickest portion. Canes grow to over a foot long and are naturally pendant. The cross-section of the canes is four sided (not exactly square, but more diamond shaped) ... but four flat sides. I guess the four sides is where the tetra in the name comes from.
They will grow in phal to cat or even den light, depending on whether they are warm or intermediate. Thin fibrous roots, so mounting or loose medium with good drainage and generous water is good.
Very nice... this is a gorgeous species... unfortunatelly for me not what I would call a small or mini plant...
