It's beautiful Tom.

I'm not too familiar with this one...actually, not familiar at all. Is it fragrant? How big is the plant (it's hard for me to tell in the photo)?

The flowers are slightly fragrant.
This is a first time bloomer and the tallest cane is only 6". The canes of a real Den. hercoglossum should be 4-14" tall, sometimes pandent.

There is at least one other species looks very similar to this species and it is Den. linguella.

I have one o f these beauties - I am growing it in a wooden basket in coconut husk chips, bright indirect light, intermediate temps, 80% humidity, fertilizing 1/4 strength at every watering... it is very happy and making new canes even now! It needs a winter rest - ie. less watering and fertilizer until Spring. Happy growing everyone!
