Siblings from Same Compot Awarded AM
Two siblings of Den. Rising Star (Den. Roy Tokunaga x Den. Jacquelyn Thomas) from the same community pot were awarded Awards of Merit by the American Orchid Society Judges (Honolulu Region) on May 1, 2009. I exhibited both plants at the Manoa Orchid Show held May 2-3, 2009 at the Noelani Elementary School in Manoa, Oahu, Hawaii. I purchased the community pot several years ago from H&R Nurseries.
