Bright sun will be your photographic friend......lol.....you will take better photo's in natural light than you ever will in 'artificial' light.

I am no expert at all but I suggest a tripod and natural light in the late afternoon using your macro function. I do that and get great photo's with my camera.

I must admit I've bought my first tripod today and will post the results from a first flowering seedling I have now.

Good luck with your learning and experimentation with your plant photo's. It's a lot of fun!!!
