It really is a fine looking flower, and judging by appearance of the spike, that's a very happy, healthy plant. Good growing!

Awesome Sue, your tropical area is making for some happy happy happy chids...just another pro to owning a home, damn hard balancing wants/needs with home vs condo...

Question: Did you grow orchids up north? or do I remember you saying you started when you moved to Fl...just a thought

Nope, none in NY!
I moved here in Dec 2004 (next week is 2 yrs!!!), went to my first orchid show in March 2005 (I'm now a VP of that club!) and it's been non-stop ever since!!!
