Den cuthbertsonii *MINI*
I had three different cuthbertsonii in my cool tank and they did very well. I'll try to find pics of the other colour forms I had and post them. Here is the pink one.

Thanks.
I grew this in a fish tank where it got cool conditions and bright light. It was potted in sphagnum which was kept moist. They like lots of air movement as well.

Right up my alley (so to speak!) As I try to set up and populate my new terraium, this is one I will keep in mind. Where did you get yours?

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Oops. That doesn't help unless they ship internationally, or unless I get my butt up and drive over there!

Does this need a resting period at all? I tend to avoid putting these in vivariums where I can't give everyone a resting period.

Hey Tindo,
They really won't do unless you have a cool viv. They can handle it down to around 36F-38F. I have mine outside. Of course with our nights dipping into the high 30s the past couple of days I sit them on my outside window ledge just in case. Don't want to lose them. They like their feet moist but their tops dry. They grow in cloud forests in Indonesia. There are only 2 retailers I know of. One is in your region and one in CA.
1. White Oak Orchids in California
click this link> Home
2. Parkside Orchids in Pennsylvania
click this link> Home Page
I recommend driving to Parkside to buy if possible-check with them.
