Default Dendrobuim pachyphyllum

This bloomed for me once previously, but not knowing how short live the flowers are (about one day) I missed photographing it. So when I saw this one coming, I was going to be ready for this one. Just one flower this time, but wow - does that little guy pack a fragrance punch! I guess if you're only open for one day, you'd better be pretty good at attracting your pollinator. Intensely fragrant.

Hi Royal...congrats on getting your photo, and on having this cute littel bugger bloom!

I have a one day bloomer that I still haven't gotten a photo of yet. One of these days.........

Thanks everyone. I got this from someone in our OB family. I think that's why it's happy - it's knows that it is loved. I hope yours does well, Becca. It seems to be pretty easy to please. As discussed in previous threads, blooming is triggered by dips in temperature, so you may try chilling it for a few nights.

We got down into the upper 40's for a few night a couple of weeks ago. I don't think the fridge would be that bad, honestly.
