Dendrobium aphyllum Male
Default Dendrobium aphyllum

I have had this dendrobium for 14 months and this is the first time it has bloomed for me. I like the way it is mounted on a wood slab then put in an 11 inch basket then hung.

I think that the flowers look quite different from other pictures that I have seen. This dendrobium does grow wild in many SE Asia countries including Thailand.

Thank You. The weather here in Chaiyaphum Thailand has 3 seasons. First of all, we are at a higher elevation in the mountains. Dec. to March is our 'cooler' season (temps in the teens and twenties). April to July is our hot season (30's to 40's). And Aug. to Nov. is our rainy season (20's to 40's). No matter what season, it is almost always very humid. April is considered our hottest month.
