Check my gallery and see the orange and yellow one which flowers for 8 or 9 months of the year.

Thanks for the tips. . .running to check out your photos!

Your conditions in New Zealand must be just about perfect!

Oh how I wish they were, but if it was easy to grow orchids it would be boring, like lettuces.

I've only tried growing a couple of those and to be honest I have had no luck. Very difficult to keep long term but I know some people have got the culture right.

Love the colouring of that flower though, it is a beauty!

Gwen!!! How beautiful! And they are perfect in those pots! The red one in the green Erin pot could be a poster child for complimentary potting! I can only hope that some of mine look so good when they flower. Now... I've just got to be patient until they flower!! Not easy!

Mine are all now sitting at the top of my Exo tank where they get really good air circulation. We've had quite warm weather here the past few days (its gotten up to 25°C / 77°F outside) and the temps in the tank have been a max of 71°F. They are all potted in sphag, which I mist to keep moist but never soggy.

How many canes do your's have? I'm just wondering, so that I can try to estimate when mine will bloom! Always impatient, me!

The red bloomer only has about four canes and they're only about 3/4" high at the most.

The purple one only has four tiny canes. These are even shorter, maybe 1/2"

I poked some air holes in the tent of my Juliana grow rack and noticed this morning that temps are down to 71 degrees. . .so far, so good. :) Now to see how low it drops at night.

Bet they would too. . .keep em cool but in bright light. . .lots of humidity and lots of air circulation.

Andy's got em. There really isn't much difference between the red and purple ones. If I were ordering now, I would get the red one and an orange one.
