Default Repotting blooming dendrobium

I just received a new dendrobium. It looks great but its been potted in coco door and its in bloom. Would it be ok to depot it in bark or should I wait for it to finish blooming. I'm just worried about its roots. I don't want them to rot.

I have repotted them in bloom without issues. But be as gentle as you can.

I wouldn't worry about the roots for now. They use a lot of water in flower and the coco fiber will become dry fairly rapidly. I might not even repot this season, but if the coco fiber is old and breaking down, I would wait until I see new roots forming.

Ditto this, I have re-potted Den. Nobile types in bloom several times without issue. Hasn't (for me) disrupted the current blooms either.

My Den. Nobile hybrids are usually still in bloom when they start producing new roots and growth anyway.

Recently I repotted a newly acquired Den. Berry Oda. Reason, the potting media still was soaking wet after 2 weeks. The plant did fine after being repotted. No bud blast.
