Is there a way to tell if a dendrobium is a latouria.

The shape and look of the canes is similar. IMO, the most elegant looking canes...

A nice glossy sheen, golden-green color (reddish tone with light), tapered, and symmetrically ribbed. 2-3 leaves on the top

I'm guessing you mean when not in flower?

Look at a lot of photos online. Latourias tend to have 2 to a few thin-textured pointed leaves, much wider at the midpoint. The pseudobulbs tend to be very thin at the base, with four distinct sides, expanding to sometimes much wider pseudobulbs, and with very short distances between pseudobulbs. Roots are small in diameter, as with most Dens. Latouria species can be very small or very large plants.
