Thank you camille!

the flowers are built of heavy construction. the surface texture is very much like a vellum. really tough flowers.
I'm going to take this to the orchid meetings and see how long its blooms can last and make sure to sign it in every month.
Didnt take it last month bec the 1 flower was old and was my 1st orchid meeting back. didnt want to show off bunch of old flowers ya know..now its a new plant all together with the buds.

Dendrobium laevifolium.

Itzi,
the best I can tell you about the light, is to start them off low. Its not going to hurt them. Slowly move them up. Not the best or good for the purple on top. Equal to sunburn. Tube and LED burn makes the leaves turn purple on top. Purple on the bottom is good. Purple on the top as you in mine is faint bec they are recovering from high heat too close to the lights. The brightness of the light you can give the plant is going to depend on how cool you can keep the plant close to the heat generated by the light. High temps on these is always your number 1 concern.

the cooler you can keep them the more light you can give them.
