Go to the Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia and read about Section Latouria.

Every den hybrid I know with “chip” is a latourinate

---------- Post added at 07:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:44 PM ----------

I have
Mini chip
Micro chip
Aussie chip
Royal chip
And at least one other

However. I see that is a synonym for goldschmidtatum and that is NOT so there goes that theory lol

Taken from the SVO website:

"SVO 8150
Den. King Zip 'Red Splash' AM/AOS x Den. Faye Roshan 'SVO'

This cross has considerable influence from the species kingianum. King Zip (Kathking x Zip) is a robust growing plant producing many white flowers with dark purple markings. Faye Roshan (Australian Rhubarb Pie x Cobber) is also a robust growing plant it blooms with many white flowers with bold purple markings. This pairing will produce sturdy stems holding 6-7 attractive, pure white flower with bold purple marking and dark purple lips. The plants are good growers and will become excellent specimen plants. These plants will stay nice and compact maturing at 10” tall. "

Sunset Valley Orchids - Superior Hybrids for Orchid Enthusiasts

According to orchidroots.com, this hybrid consists of:

Den. kingianum
Den. tetragonum
Den. speciosum
Den. fleckeri
Den. falcorostrum

So, no, that one is an Aussie Dendrobium hybrid.

And maybe you mean Den. miyakei ? That is supposed to be a synonym of Den. goldschmidtianum, which is not a latouriate.
