Hello, I just purchased a parishii and I'd like to drop him in a small semi hydroponic container.

I'm writing to ask the experienced Den growers when in the stage of the orchid is this a good time to do it or can it be done at anytime?

Thank you

With any plant, the ideal time for repotting, changing the medium, etc. is just as new roots are forming. With Dens, it often (even usually) happens with new growth. So watch for new growth, then make the switch. It'll probably be on towards spring. The reason for this is that roots tend to adapt to whatever medium they are in, and they may slowly die in a new medium. If you make the transition just as new roots are forming, the old ones will keep the plant going until the new ones grow, but then the new ones will adapt quickly to the new environment and take over.
