Dendrobium trantuanii keiki-when to remove
Default Dendrobium trantuanii keiki-when to remove

I just received this D. trantuanii. It has 2 keikis. One came is pretty shriveled, the one with the keikis is ok. Should I remove them or leave them on the mother?

If the cane with the keikis is still plump, they should be fine to leave attached. Eventually the mother cane will start to shrivel, they the keikis will have sucked as much energy as they can. Personally, I prefer to leave keikis attached as long as they are healthy.

Unless there is a necessary reason to remove the keikis from the old cane, I say leave the keikis as is and let the orchid do what it wants to do.
