Default Dr. Tanaka

I am curious what Dr. Tanaka is growing and how he's growing his paphs. Perhaps he will let us see some of his plants and his setup. I'd also love to hear what it is that he's currently working on.

Dear friends,
It was so difficult for me to find this place…..
Thank you very much for your interesting to me. I guess, I'm not so differences between us. I grow only Paphs in a green house of 33 m2, steel-framed construction covered with plastic film. I have never counted the number. The main Paphs are Brachypetalum and Parvisepalum. Now I don’t have many Polyantha. Because I find the environment is very different between Polyanatha’s and Brachypetalums. Some of friends of mine who won the awards in JGP often grow Polyantha like rothschildianum etc very very nice and I was disappointed my technique of growing Polyantha was below their ones.
About half of Brachypetalum and Parvisepalum are species. Japanese including me of course like album form. I collected album form too. One of the purpose in my breeding is to make Complex hybrids like bulldog type by Brachypetalum and/or Parvisepalum only. The purpose might be similar to Terry’s of OZ.
Yes, we want to discuss in various theme in Paphs step by step.
Please give us the theme.
