As the plant was recently repotted, I wasn't expecting any flower and the plant was on the dry side. When I discovered the spike, there were already three buds to see; the plant got more water from them but all parts of the flower seem more delicate than usual.

This is more "relaxed" than the typical Berenice.

I normally don't care for photos of partially opened flowers, but this photo has the look of a very well done watercolor painting. Very nice.

The third flower is opening now. A very colourful flower. Here a close look at the staminode.
