Default Cyp. Anna In My Flower Garden

My Cyp. Anna (Cyp. parviflorum x Cyp. macranthos ) is blooming again. I planted it a couple years ago and got my 1st single bloom last spring. So I think it's happy since the plant has multiplied to 3 this year!

Thanks Shannon. If they can survive my climate, they should be fine in yours. My hardy yellow one also just opened a first bloom bud!

Congratulations! I'm just thrilled that mine even survived. Maybe it will bloom next spring.

You give me hope!

Last year it was planted in an area too dry and hot, so it had turned black by mid-July.

In autumn, I transplanted the few shriveled roots that were left into a shadier, wetter spot next to some ferns. And this spring I notice it had returned! Just two leaves, and the whole thing not more than 10 cm tall, but green and healthy looking.

So who knows? Maybe I will be posting flowers with you next year, silken

I think you will be posting photos next year. Is it the same one or a different one? I have mine in a loose moisture holding soil in partial shade. It gets some sun later in the day. It seems happy with that.
