Default Paph. hainanense

Paph. hainanense x sib. (Shine & Glory x Wide Wings)

I got this as a seedling a couple years ago. It was supposed to be near bloom size but its taken me till now to bloom it. I have a few Paphs, but I don't give them the care they should have so I don't have very good results. Last summer I tried to step up my care for them. I have been watering more and re-potted a few of them. This was re-potted in Oct. and almost immediately thanked me by putting up a spike. It has been slow going, but this is what it looks like.

Yes Silken,so very nice. Have one also and still telling myself that Paphs are not for me.Must be more aggressive about watering and even the light thing.I blame my shortcomings on tax season!

I recently repotted it and may be time to play "taps". It's gonna be a while but I'm counting on yours to pull me thru!

Put a Paph in semi-hydroponics. You only have to water once a week, or less. They are the easiest orchids I have.

Yes, I know you're right and I've resisted doing this for a long time. I've amped up my waterings tho and do see lots of new growth and budding. I'm gettin' there...TY
