Default Paph. cerveranum

My very first Paph is blooming for the second time since I got it. I purchased a division from a member of the Swedish orchid forum I'm also a member of, in Mars last year.

This is a great beginner's Paph I would say, it grows fast, for a Paph, and it blooms very nicely. Also, being a variant of appletonianum it has a lovely mottled foliage.

It's no wonder I started hoarding Paphs after this guy made an entrance, since it's sooo cute.

Is this a newly described species? I don't think I've heard of it before. However, very colorful and an excellent photo.

Very nice! I like the long spike. So you got this (your first paph) in March 2012? I got my first paph (delenatii) in November 2011.

This is a variant of appletonianum. Some say it is just a synonym of appletonianum. Look at the names here: Paphiopedilum appletonianum
