EEE Gads!!! ME Too!

I have a theory developing that the closer a plant resembles the kolopakingii parent in growth of the individual plant of the kolo hybrids, the better the resulting flowers...Any comments on my theory?

Well, kolopakingii is the giant of the genus - it gets the largest and also tends to have a very high flower count, so it tends to impart both of those traits to its hybrids.

I've been on a kolopakingii kick lately myself and have quite a few of its' hybrids now. It is a wonderful species, and is the only fragrant species of the multi floral paphs.
