This is a public project sponsored by Nascent Orchids to promote education and awareness about Paphiopedilums and their culture.

The Paphiopedia is a living encyclopedia of all things Paphiopedilum. It contains information on culture, species habitats, photographs, disease control, and a growing host of knowledge.

However, it isn't just updated by a single author, it is a wiki. It allows guests to add their information, experiences, and photographs. That is what it depends on. So if you have some special tips or a nice photo of your species plant, please come by and update the Paphiopedia.

Paphiopedia is a great resource - I need to spend more time there, actually.

Another nice site is slipperorchid.info. Stephen Manza's been doing a great job over there.
