Default Paphiopedilum Judge Philip

Paphiopedilum Judge Philip. It's a cross between Pinnochio and phillipinese, and Todd has one too that is a sibbling of mine and also posted on this forum. It's a cross between a sequential bloomer and a multifloral, but the buds are progressing quickly so I might see three blooms at once. I could have staked and staighted the spike vertically for a better display, so that the blooms don't overlap but I risk snapping it. The second bloom just opened and is not fully developed.

And a group shot of them. Three slippers from three different continents in the same photo.

does the second photo look calendar worthy?

Beautiful Fren! I think I like the colour of yours more than mine. The dorsal stripping is more pronounced on yours and the pouch is a bit pinker. I only managed to get 2 blooms on my spike. You are obviously doing much better. Well done! I really like the 3 cousins shot!

Very cool, Fren!
I can relate to what you said about not staking one of them for risk of snapping it...been there, done that

Thanks for sharing

Great growing, looks like you got a great one. I have one too, probably from the same group, but the darn thing still doesn't want to flower yet. So slow. Guess patience is a virtue when it comes to orchids.

The second picture looks good me me, I also love the group shot.

I actually like Todd's bloom better. It has a more ideal shape and the bloom is flatter than mine so it looks fuller. I'm sure it will send more than two blooms next time for you!
