Paph. Magic Lantern - Orchid Board

When I redeemed my contest prize at Orchids of Los Osos, one of the plants that I got was Paph. Magic Lantern (micranthum x delenatii). The plants arrived on 3/30/07 and to our surprise, one of the plants had a ten inch inflorescence with a perfect bud. The attached photos show the blooming sequence (BS) of Paph. Magic Lantern from Apr 1 to May 9. The flower is a bit small for the grex, but it's color is delightful AND there's a second inflorescence emerging from one of the new fans.

BTW, the other plants I got are Dollgoldi and armeniacum. Although there was no indication of it when I received my order, an inflorescence is beginning to form on each of these.

Excellent colour on that one!
I am still waiting for mine to bloom, but I think it is coming soon

I bought Magic Lantern in mid April and by the end of April it was sending up a spike. It's just starting to open and it's got double buds. Yay!

Yours is very nice. The color on it is great!

WOW Intense color for a Magic Lantern -
I have seen many that aren't this strong in color.
That makes up for the size
