Are there any blue paphs?
I love blue color, it's my favorite, I would love to have a blue paph in my collection if there exists one. I've never seen blue paphs out there, so it looks like they are very rare Do they exist at all? And I mean blue, light blue, no purple or red reflections like purple or blue. Guys, help me find one out there! Maybe someone already has this beauty?

well there is a purple phrag called phrag kovachii. There's no such thing as a blue orchid, but rather violet

Here, they say there are no red or blue paphs...
Orchid: Paphiopedilum
I dreamed about one that is of the similar color, like a vanda on this pic:

How about vanda on the pic above? It looks like blue indeed, though I've never seen a blue vanda personally, only on photos. But it's very true blue!

Phrag kovachii isn't exactly that shade either...
I've heard of someone who dreamed of a blue slipper and ended up dying in the hunt for it in the rainforest

Ha ha, I'm not yet to that, I mean hunting for it in the rain forest. I just wanna find a name of a blue slipper, if there is one, and then buy it from somewhere.

I don't think the blue slipper exists. We discussed the same question earlier, at the Russian language forum and we didn't find any blue slipper. I wish I had one too. It should be so nice. Too nice to be a reality...

Yeah, I guess you're right, there are no such things as blue slippers, however, having one would be a really nice opportunity.

Maybe in the future they will have blue Paphs. They just need to work with Kovachii a little. Or manipulate the genes a bit. They were doing some genetic work with some white flowers(I don't recall the name) or something like that, and brought out a blue gene for the normally white flowers.

No blues paphs, nothing even close. I agree with the no blue orchid comment, only bluish shades of purple..
