Default Phrag. Sgt Eric in bloom

This is a cross between Eric Young and sargentianum.
This one blooms for me like clockwork and since it is sequential it stays in flower for a really long time, usually long enough that the spike ends up hanging over and touching the ground...

That's a really good question and I wish that I could answer it...I bought it from OrchidBabies 3 years ago and what ever they had it planted in, is what it's still in, though missing about half the medium I kept meaning to repot it, but never got around to it. Now I'm afraid to touch it since it keeps blooming the way it is...

Laura, it's very nice. Great color and nice spotting in the pouch. Don't be afraid to repot. I did my Sedenii and my Jason Fisher this spring and they both went nutso! New growth & roots all over the place. Sedenii is in bloom now and I think Jason Fisher is getting ready to.

I just repotted a couple Phrags in s/h and they seem to be growing faster then a couple I had planted in a bark mix.

Nice cross, very pretty coloring on this one, Laura!
100% agree on the repotting - don't be afraid to repot a phrag they will only increase in size
