thats sounds about right for me too

Awesome Jim! I'm soooo jealous - have yet to re-bloom a paph - tho gave up on them a couple years ago and just this year have got a few again - so we'll see.

Cant wait to see pix of those babies in bloom!

I'm another one who's just getting new leaf growth. I don't mind new leaves mind, I would just love some flowers as well.

Like WhiteRabbit I'm yet to re-bloom a paph, but I only started with them last year.

Your buds look great Jim. Great growing

You certainly have a lot of flowers to look forward to Jim!

I have a question about Paph. hirsutissimum. Mine put up a sheath back in June, but there is no sign of any buds yet. How long do these babies take to develop? Do the make blind sheaths like Catts sometimes do? Just curious as this will be a first bloom on this seedling, and I'm not sure what to expect.

Yes Paph. hirsutissimum takes a long time to come up I have 3 in sheath now I bet I won't see a bloom until Jan. or Feb. but they are worth the wait...... Jim.

Thanks Jim! I was worried something was amiss. This will be the first strap leaf I have bloomed so wasn't really sure what to expect.
