his is the first of this group which has bloomed... it is a first time bloomer...

I really like the color and the pattern, but hope that next time the position of the flower is improved.... maybe training the spike?

Very nice Ramon. For what it's worth, mine did the same thing on first blossom and went up straight for subsequent blooms. Hope yours does that as well.

Nice pics, Ramon. If you look at pictures of paphs in the wild, a lot of them grow just like the 2nd shot. I guess the dorsal sepal acts as a shield to keep rain from the pouch. Of course, we humans like it when we can see it straight up.

I really love this one! I don't have a lot of paphs, yet, but I've noticed, as Ross said, a lot of first blooms tend to 'pout' a bit.

One would think this, but my experience is that 2nd blooming and after, the flower usually stands straighter.
